Our story

Masilo projects is a construction firm which is based in the province of the Eastern Cape. This firm was founded by a young, dynamic entrepreneur, Mosa Masilo, in 2007 with the vision of partnering with the Government and Public Sector to make sure that the vision and goals of developing South Africa are achieved in the process, ensuring that people’s lives are changed for the better.

Our superior service philosophy and core values reflect passion and commitment to the transformation of our country, with integrity, equity, and professionalism being the key focus. Masilo Projects seeks to inspire by setting new standards of excellence and intends to establish a national footprint in delivering quality service to our clients.

Ownership Structure

We have a level 1 (135%) rating in terms of B-BBEE. Masilo projects is 100% black owned by a black and young enthusiastic director with a construction management and occupational health and safety background.


The government has now in the form of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and codes of good practise conduct laid out the foundation blocks for economic transformation. The Act has gone a long way clarifying to investors, government’s stance on B-BBEE.


Various industries are looking at ways to transform themselves in line with the country’s black economic empowerment agenda. All these initiatives by business in general will inevitably present opportunities for firms of the calibre of Masilo projects.

Masilo projects is a registered with the Construction Industry Development Board with a current grading of 4CE PE, 4EP PE, 1 ME PE and 1 GB PE.
